What to do when you lack Motivation

OK, admit it. Some days completely lack you the motivation to do the things that you know should be done. It is not as if you do not know what must be done or lack something to do. It is that you have zero desire to do so. In fact if you lined up all the things that need you could actually spend your whole holiday doing their and the list would still complete.

There are clothes in the washer that must be moved to the dryer so that they have mold on them and must be washed again, but you still do not. There is a report, you must fill out and wait time all too soon but nothing you write makes sense. There is a crack in your windscreen that has been there for days, weeks, months, or if I dare say years but you have not got it fixed. There is a friend, you know that you must contact because they pass through a difficult period and you love dearly but you fear the conversation. Or it is my personal favorite, you know that it is time for an annual review (truth that the time was there are really five years), but you are not the appointment.

That sounds familiar to you? After reading more books self-help and listened several interviews of motivation that you can remember yet not help allows you to do the same thing that you don't want to not be able to. Instead of following an old slogan as "Just do it", so try this place.

As to the rest. Perhaps you are burned and just need to rest. Take a day off and do something fun to rejuvenate yourself.Play. Playing with a toy, game, or go to a park. Just distract you can be useful.Drawing of lots. Have you never log or draw as a kid? Try to do and see where your spirit takes you.Phone. Call a friend (not that you have been constantly), but one that makes you smile.Encourage. Try to encourage someone else and useful for them. It is useful to take the focus away from you for some time.Laughter. Watch an old sitcom makes you laugh out loud. Laughter is good for the soul.Thank you. Render thanks to God for the blessings in your life. Do not put in a request, just be grateful.Change. Go walking, take a drive or to another room, to do something to change your environment. Sometimes it is only useful.Exercise. When you're motivated to do other things, exercise seems to be a good excuse. Use it to push your body to clean your thoughts.Think small. Just make a small step from your list of tasks or project may be enough to inspire you to complete the greatest element.

The essence is that doing something is better than nothing, even if that something has nothing to do with your list "to do". When you're not motivated to do the things you need to do, just make a little thing can make a big difference in the end.
